Homepage                                         The aim of our invitation to Cyprus is to combine our 61st WATA Assembly with a tour around the island, to introduce you to the unexplored faces of Cyprus and enable you to gain an in-depth experience of the island away from typically designed tourist guides. We would therefore like to invite the WATA conference 2011 to Cyprus. This program gives a genuine feel of the Cyprus countryside, the lifestyle and affluent natural beauty. WATA participants will have the opportunity to visit traditional villages, as well as archaeological places, which belong to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Two overnights will be organized in a beautiful small hotel, previously a monastery in a village near Polis. Last but not least Cyprus is renowned for its Mediterranean sumptuous cuisine. So it would also be a truly unique experience for you to taste the genuine, homemade local cuisine accompanied by a glass of the world famous “Commandaria” wine.
