Built by the warrior-astronomer Raja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727, it is full of formidable forts, enchanting palaces and lovely temples. “The Pink City” Jaipur is a charming place, which dazzles the eye of a tourist with several architectural landmarks, stylish monuments, palaces, museums, wide avenues and colorful bazaars. Though less than 300 years old, the city is already full of mysteries and legends. Jaipur is surrounded by hill top forts such as Amber Fort, Jaigarh and Nahargarh. Enjoy your wonderful discovery of the unparallel beauty of Jaipur.

Tour Details

Day 01: Delhi - Jaipur

Morning after relaxed breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in to the hotel to relax.

Evening explore the colorful markets of Jaipur.

Overnight stay at the hotel.
 
 
Day 02: Jaipur

Morning after breakfast we will take you to a guided excursion to Amber Fort (The classical romantic Rajasthan Fort palace. It's construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592 and completed by his descendant Jai Singh I. Its rugged forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate refinement. Painted scenes of hunting and war adorn the walls with precious stones and mirrors set into the plaster. In the foreground is the Maota Lake with breath taking reflections of the magnificent Amber Palace). Also enjoy Elephant Ride while climbing up atop of the hill of  Amber Fort.

Further proceed for afternoon sight seeing which includes visits to The City Palace (In the heart of the old city, it occupies a large area divided into a series if courtyards, gardens & buildings. It's a blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. A portion of which has been converted into museum housing royal artifacts art, carpets, enamelware & old weapons) and Jantar Mantar (or observatory built by the astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh. It is the largest and the best preserved of the 5 he built).and The Wind Palace (Hawa Mahal) from outside.

• Please note that, these days, only a limited number of Elephants are allowed at Amber Fort. Hence, to ensure Elephant Ride, we will have to arrive at Amber Fort near about 0730 Hrs. On this morning, we will have to take our breakfast little early and start for Amber Fort


Day 03: Jaipur – Delhi
After leisurely breakfast drive back to Delhi.
